All gynaecology ultrasounds at Evergreen are performed in-house by our consultant gynaecologists, giving you expert assessment and personalised reporting. Scans are available only when booked with a consultation, ensuring your care is thorough, convenient and tailored to your needs.
General Gynaecology Investigations
Swab culture test for identication of pathogens. Antimicrobial susceptibility testing performed to aid with administration of appropriate antibiotics for treatment; dependent on growth.
Urine microscopy, with culture if urinary casts are positive and urinary tract infection is suspected. Includes urinalysis.
Cervical screening for high risk strains of human papillomavirus (HPV) including; 16,18,45,31,33,35,39,51, 52,56,58,59,66,88. If HPV is detected, cervical cytology is included.
