Discover Early Cancer Detection with Trucheck™ Intelli
Early Cancer Detection Screening
At Evergreen Richmond Medical, we offer Trucheck™ Intelli, a revolutionary blood test designed to identify cancers at their earliest stages—even before you notice any symptoms. Many cancers do not have established screening methods and some remain silent until they have progressed significantly. Early detection can make a significant difference, offering a chance for more effective and less intensive treatments. This non-invasive blood test screens for over 70 types of solid organ cancers, including those that are not part of routine screening programs. It offers a proactive way to assess cancer risk and enables timely follow-up care if necessary.

How Does Trucheck Work?
When cancer develops, it releases tiny fragments and cells, known as circulating tumor cells (CTCs), into the bloodstream. These cells are often the starting point for cancer spreading within the body, particularly when they travel in clusters.
Trucheck™ Intelli analyses a sample of your blood to detect these CTCs and suggests the most likely organ from which the cells originated. If the test results are positive, this information guide doctors to recommend specific follow-up investigations to confirm the findings.

Your Journey with Trucheck at Evergreen Richmond Medical
During your consultation, our doctor will explain the test in detail and address any questions you may have. Your suitability for the test will be confirmed and you will be guided through the consent form. If you have symptoms to suggest cancer the doctor may recommend alternative tests.
Trucheck is suitable for:
- Individuals aged 40 and above with no previous cancer diagnosis.
- Individuals aged 35 to 39 years and with additional risk factors (such as a family history of cancer, obesity or diabetes).
- Patients seeking early detection as part of a comprehensive health plan.
- Anyone with persistent, unexplained symptoms.
Blood samples will be collected and sent to a a specialised laboratory in Surrey for analysis.
Results will be returned to your GP at Evergreen within approximately three weeks.
Our doctors will get in touch as soon as the results will be available to discuss the findings and guide you on next steps.
If the test identifies circulating tumor cells in your sample, it indicates a higher risk for cancer but does not provide a confirmed diagnosis. The result will also usually suggest the likely organ of origin and cancer type. In this case, we will guide you through the next steps, helping you access the best specialists and support available for further investigations.
A negative result indicates that no circulating tumor cells (CTCs) were found in your sample, suggesting a low likelihood of an active malignancy in your body. However, a negative Trucheck™ report does not entirely eliminate the possibility of cancer, as certain cancers may not release detectable tumor cells into the bloodstream.
