Easy Access to Private Lab Testing at Evergreen. It’s healthcare on your terms.

A fee of £30 applies to all blood draws or sample collections performed in the clinic by an operator. This fee is charged in addition to the cost of the specific tests requested and covers the professional service of sample collection.

Microbiology:

Swab culture test for identication of candida species. Antimicrobial susceptibility testing dependant on growth.

Swab culture test for identication of pathogens. Antimicrobial susceptibility testing performed to aid with administration of appropriate antibiotics for treatment; dependent on growth.

Identifies a broad range of bacterial, viral, and parasitic gastrointestinal pathogens using PCR. This replaces traditional culture methods.

Urine microscopy, with culture if urinary casts are positive and urinary tract infection is suspected. Includes urinalysis.

PCR panel for respiratory tract infections screens for a total of 22 viral and bacterial pathogens.

STI TESTING GUIDANCE

Most STIs have an incubation following exposure, meaning they may not be detected within a certain timeframe.

Most STI’s require you to wait at least 14 days after sexual activity before taking a test, however, please refer to the below timeframes instead if testing for the following STI’s to ensure the results are accurate:

If there is no noticeable genital lesion or genital discharge, a urine sample should be provided. If there is a genital lesion or genital discharge, a swab sample should be provided.
