Dr Filomena Paciello is a double board-certified General Practitioner, holding both the EU (2002) and UK (2003) GP Licences to Practice. She has a special interest in Cardiology and General Medicine, supported by extensive UK hospital-based training in Emergency Medicine, Respiratory Diseases, Cardiology, and Gastroenterology, as well as a Master’s Degree in Cardiology from the University of Brighton.
Since 2008, Dr Paciello has been practising as a GP in London, embracing a variety of roles that general practice offers in both in-hours and out-of-hours settings. She has been a dedicated urgent care provider at St Mary’s Hospital Urgent Care Centre (UCC) since its early days and served as GP Lead for her colleagues at the UCC. In this leadership role, she oversaw Clinical Governance and performance monitoring, demonstrating her commitment to high-quality patient care.
Her passion for research, cardiovascular health and disease prevention led her to the International Centre for Circulatory Health at at Imperial College, St Mary’s Hospital from 2009 to 2012, where she played a key role in recruitment programs across North and West London for major international trials (Principal Investigator for the UK in UMPIRE, an international randomised trial assessing the effectiveness of the “Polypill” as a cardiovascular prevention strategy).
In 2020, Dr Paciello established Italian GP London, a CQC-approved private telemedicine platform of GP services and specialist Dermatology care to the Italian community in the UK. Recognised as a trusted medical point of reference for Italians living in or visiting London, she has built a reputation for compassionate and comprehensive care tailored to her patients’ needs.
In 2024, she expanded her vision by founding Evergreen Richmond Medical in Richmond, Surrey—a private GP and specialist clinic serving the local community. Prevention, early identification of illness and addressing risk factors are the cornerstones of the personalised care Dr Paciello provides to all her patients.
As a member of the British Menopause Society, Dr Paciello dedicates a significant portion of her practice to women’s health. She focuses on the unique challenges and needs associated with female wellbeing across all life stages. In 2024, she completed advocacy programme training at The Women’s Organisation, which equipped her to champion workplace wellness for women reinforcing her commitment to empower women to achieve their personal, social and economic potential by fostering health and wellbeing in professional settings.
